The City of Schenectady and Union College will host a Field Day at Schenectady’s Central Park on Friday, September 1st from 12pm-3pm. Activities will include lawn games, basketball, wiffleball, kickball, badminton, community organizations, a toddler activity zone, refreshments, and more! The free event is for kids of all ages, and will take place around the basketball courts and “C” baseball diamond between Central Park’s Robinson Street and Western Parkway entrances (Rain location: Central Park Pavilion). Participants are invited to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Schenectady City School District Food Pantry Program. Field Day is hosted by the City of Schenectady Department of Parks & Recreation and Union College’s Kenney Center for Community Engagement and Outreach.
