The city of Schenectady received federal aid money to study and install a cycle track between Nott Terrace and Clinton Street, directly behind City Hall.

The Franklin Street project follows infrastructure work on the Mohawk-Hudson Bike-Hike Trail. The 2017 bike plan delineated three phases of a proposed bicycle priority network that included varying types of bike paths, including low-speed, neighborhood greenways, shared-use paths, and shared lanes on local streets.

We will keep you updated as more on this project is released.
